Charming Atmosphere with Great Breakfast
I had a lovely stay in a small double room, where the friendly staff made me feel right at home. The breakfast was a highlight, featuring delicious options and served with a smile. I appreciated the warm atmosphere, enhanced by the local pub vibe and the welcoming community. I found the noise from the street a bit disruptive at night, which could be improved.

The location is good for exploring, and I found the continental breakfast satisfying. The staff was friendly and helped whenever needed. They actually took the time to check everything was alright.
The pub was messy, and the room felt cold when I arrived. The noise from the main road was bothersome during the night, which affected my sleep experience.

The stay was quite basic and we found the breakfast options to be limited, primarily consisting of cereal and fruits, which was a bit disappointing. The room was clean but felt a bit outdated and smaller than expected, and there were some issues like a broken towel rack and out-of-date yogurts. the comfortable bed made for a decent night's sleep. It suited our needs for a short transit stay while exploring nearby attractions like Traquair House.

A good experience overall, with spacious and clean rooms. The staff were friendly and accommodating, even providing breakfast for early risers. the décor felt dated, and there was a bit of noise from the pub downstairs, but it added to the character of the place.

Cozy stay with great breakfast!
We spent 4 nights here. The breakfast was legit, lots of options, and cooked just right. There’s also a cool bar/lounge area to relax in later. The downside? Our room didn’t have heating, which was a bummer, especially at night. But the staff was super friendly and helped us feel at home.

Great stay with a comfy bed
We decided to book last minute and were super impressed! The room felt fresh and cozy, loved the comfy bed. Only thing was, we heard some late-night noise from the locals, kinda expected though. The bar was fun too, got a good laugh with the folks there. Perfect for grabbing takeout and chillin' out.

the hotel is so close to local shops and cafes. The beautiful Kailzie Gardens are just under 5 km away, making it perfect for a quick stroll despite a basic breakfast that could use a few more options.
